Welcome to Le Hutereau Gîtes

Self-catering cottages in the heart of the French countryside
Le Hutereau Book Now
Get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing holiday or a short break in the heart of the French countryside. Le Hutereau is a 400 year old former farm which has been converted into a main house and three holiday cottages; Sauvignon, Chenin and Muscadet. Two gîtes can sleep 6 people and one sleeps 3 to 4 people. In total we can accommodate 15 to 16 people in the three cottages, which is great for whole family holidays.
Our heated swimming pool is open from May until September.
Le Mont St Michel, Roman ruins at Jublain, Fougeres Chateau and the pretty medieval town of Vitré are all within easy reach.
We live on site, in the old farm house and are always available to provide local knowledge and advice on where to go and what to visit.  Our gîtes have free WiFi and UK satallite TV and French TV channels. There is plenty of parking right outside the door. Barbecues, pool loungers and table tennis are all available in the old barn next to the pool.

We are right in the heart of the 'Escape to the Château' area, just 25 minutes from Château De La Motte Husson (Dick and Angel's Château) and 15 minutes from Château de la Basmaignée and Château du Bailleul.
